HOUSE
EXPERIENCE THE
FLAVOUR OF FISTRAL

Welcome to The Fish House at Fistral. Sitting right on the edge of the surf, The Fish House celebrates the flavour of Fistral, shaped by the Atlantic, the tide and the waves of Britains most iconic surfing beach. Our menu focuses on flavours from the sea, with locally landed fish and shellfish from Newquay Harbour alongside the best seasonal Cornish ingredients, simply cooked to create fresh, rustic dishes full of rich Cornish flavour, served just metres from the waves.

FRESH FROM
THE ATLANTIC...
Just a stone’s throw from the Fistral shore, a front-row seat you can't ignore.

MEET PAUL...
Chef Paul Harwood has lived in Newquay for over 30 years and developed his love for seafood while working for Rick Stein in Padstow for 14 years, before travelling the world exploring local cuisine and pursuing his other passion, surfing. When the opportunity came to open a restaurant overlooking Britain’s most famous surfing beach, Paul and his wife Elise seized the moment and created The Fish House, a relaxed spot celebrating the flavour of Fistral. Today, the menu showcases locally landed fish and shellfish straight from Newquay Harbour alongside the best seasonal Cornish ingredients, simply prepared to create fresh, rustic dishes full of coastal flavour.
